Hangin’ On

The month of July is still cancelled. I had surgery this past Thursday so the stent could be removed. It was causing me an unreal amount of pain and discomfort. I feel almost 100% better since it’s been removed. The doctor looked at my kidney through a scope; he didn’t see any kidney stones. He said that if I ever actually had one, I passed it. I’m looking forward to getting things back to normal. I’ve been working a lot on my Counseling the Gifted class, and I plan on working on my Technology class for the next few days.

The Month of July has been Cancelled

I was really looking forward to the month of July after the hectic June I had, but my health had a different plan for me.  I was recently  in the hospital for 4 days for what ended up being a severe kidney infection.  I had emergency surgery so that a stint could be placed from my kidney to my bladder to drain fluid and infection.  I am feeling better everyday, but it was easily one of the worst experiences of my life.  I am trying to get caught up on school work in the meantime.  I was really looking forward to making a puzzle, watching the stack of movies I’ve been collecting since March, and getting out on the water to fish.  It looks like the month of July has been cancelled for me!

Make It Stop!

I can’t believe it’s already almost the end of June!  This past month has been jam packed with something significant happening at least every week!  I served in my cousin’s wedding, took a trip to Las Vegas, and now I’m at AP training.  I’m ready for things to slow down so that I can spend time enjoying the things I really like to do: reading, watching TV, and fishing.  I’ll leave you with a few pictures from Vegas.

Until next time,

Courtney

1st Post

Hello Everyone!  I created this blog for an online college course that I am currently taking.  I’m fairly new to the blogging world (does Xanga in middle school count?!), but I am looking forward to customizing my page.

Until next time,
